How Much Dmg Does Mythical Titan Cat Do

Honesty first: I wasn’t expecting much from Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan. Sure, I tend to be forgiving of licensed titles as long as they capture the feeling and tone of the franchise. The Sword Art Online games aren’t stellar, but the player does feel like they are taking on an adventure set in the world, for example. How the action of Attack on Titan could be faithfully translated into a game was beyond me. Sure, using a swinging system similar to the Spider-man games is obvious. But how could the speed, quick movements, and targeting be done to capture the spirit of the source material without the game camera having a fit and just showing the player the video from Ringu just to get dome respite is a challenge I couldn’t handle. This is why I don’t make games. The great news is that the developers nailed it.

Starting off with the tutorial is required for the XBox One version. The controls are, by necessity, entirely new. The player can fly through the world, firing off wires from the omnidirectional gear to shoot through the area and cover ground quickly. Upon reaching a titan, the player then presses a button to enter a combat stance and target the foe. Limbs and the nape of the neck are targeted individually using the right stick, allowing the player to quickly cripple a larger one, and hit the neck for the killing blow. Once targeted, pressing ‘X’ fires a line into the limb, and the player is pulled forward, as long as the player isn’t dodging to the side. It’s usually a good idea to do this from a distance so that proper momentum can be built up to cause damage, assuming the swing of the sword is properly timed. This can be bolstered more by spending some gas to increase speed. Considering this explanation covers the basics, it can seem daunting from the outside.

Oct 05, 2019  The Meowmere is a Hardmode, post-Moon Lord melee weapon. It has the highest base damage of all weapons. When swung, it fires a cat-shaped projectile trailed by a rainbow that consumes no mana or ammunition. The projectile is affected by gravity, and will bounce four times, piercing multiple enemies, before dissipating on the fifth hit.The Meowmere has a 11.11% (1/9) chance to be dropped. The mythical, big-toothed cat-fox long rumoured to prowl a Corsican forest is real — and may even be a new species that was previously unknown to science. The large cat, which has a bushy. Hey what’s goin on guys my name is Tanis Palmer or the mythical cat and this is my channel. I’m 14 I have no friends, no content, and no purpose in life 😂.

In practice though, the controls are very well thought out and designed. During my play, I went through the tutorial and a larger mission. Koei Tecmo were obviously hedging their bets and wanted to give players practice with a unique setup as the tutorial was overlong, the concepts and controls having been grasped long before the end point.

The full mission on hand was really well done. Titans had breached a wall, and it was up to Mikasa and her team to stall them long enough for the civilians to get to safety. Instead of it being an annoying escort mission, it played more aggressively while utilizing some very light strategy. Basically, it was up to the player, as Mikasa, to take down as many titans as possible, hacking off limbs and closing for the killing blow. The strategy comes in from fulfilling side missions and helping endangered teammates. There are multiple places on the map requesting immediate assistance, all while I found myself busy with my own problems. At one point, I took down a titan at both knees to slow it down enough for me to fly over to save someone else, returning before the crawling giant could cause any real harm.

After a while, a larger titan arrived, with the promise that this one’s defeat will mark the final subjugation needed for the mission. It was a hard fought battle as he brought some friends. Arms and legs were flying, screams of the terrified were heard, and I was forced a couple of times to switch out blades and gas tanks for my gear. Finally, I emerged victorious, surrounded by nude, grinning dead man flesh. It was a well earned victory.

There was also a mode to try out being a titan as well, one that I did not get a chance to look at. Here players (spoiler alert) will be able to take over Eren when he turns and wreak havoc on the hungry, hungry nudists at their level. The reason I didn’t try this out was due to dwindling time and wanting to try something in the regular human mode. By the way, yes, if the titans manage to grab on to the player as they are whizzing past with the omnidirectional gear, it is an instant loss to the tune of crunching bones.

Based on my brief hands on time with Attack on Titan, it looks to be a worthy experience for series fans. The pace and controls are frenetic, and really capture the tone and feel of the dire straits the remains of humanity are in. The only reason that the “series fans” qualifier is attached is that we do not know how well the story is fleshed out for series newcomers. Considering the weirdness of the anime and manga, special care will need to be taken to fill out the story while not pulling the focus off of the game parts of the game. Since they nailed the controls, I have reason to believe that they will handle this challenge with equal flair.

This is a post regarding numerous terms and in-game sayings for Battlecats. I try to do this as accurate as i can. Wish me luck!

Ok, beforehand. This post mainly contains terms for beginners and some mid-game players, so people will maybe not gain any new knowledge from this post.

Also, if i missed any important terms, please let me know in the comments and i’ll fix it up ;)

Section 1: “Miscellaneous terms”.

These are some of the general terms you can see in and out of this Amino, they are certainly not bound to Battlecats, but seem kinda important anyways.

- Buffing

”Becoming stronger due to the balancing of the game.”

- CPU

”A simple minded AI that follows a fixed program.”

- DPS

Names

”Damage Per Second. Used for how much relative damage a unit does. Calculated by deviding the Attack by Attack Speed.”

- Nerfing

”Becoming weaker due to the balancing of the game.”

- Op

“Should be known, but op usually is an abbreviation for either ‘Over Powered’ or ‘Original Poster’.”

- PM

“Private Message, or Personal Message. Same meaning in both variants.”

Ok those were not alot. But now, moving on..

Section 2: Battlecats abbreviations and slang:

- CF

”Catfood. Can be used for buying certain EX, Rare Cat Capsules, Cat God powerups, Revives, energy refills, and items from the Store.

Can be gained upon clearing certain challenges, like clearing subchapters in SoL.”

- Crit

“To land a critical hit. Deals double damage against all units. Also does full damage against Metal traited units. Both cats and enemies can possess this ability.”

- DMG, ATK, NRG

“Damage, Attack and Energy”

- EoC, ItF, CotC, SoL, UL

”Chapters in the game: Empire of Cats, Into the Future, Cats of the Cosmos, Stories of Legend, Uncanny Legends”

- EX, R., S.R., U.R., L.R.

“From left to right: Special Units, Rare Units, Super Rare Units, Uber Rare Units, Legend Rare Units.”

- KB

”Stands for three things.

1, The ‘knockback ability’, which pushes back units by a small-ish amount. This can be done by a unit’s ability, or by the Base Cannon.

2, The ‘Damage Knockback’. If a unit is hurt enough, he can eventually have a large knockback effect. The amount of knockbacks is different for every unit.

Or 3, Base Knockback. When a boss comes out, all Cats will be knocked back. The KB distance is about the same as Damage Knockback, but your units won’t receive any damage.

*important note, Damage and Base Knockback knocks back way further the the Niche variant.”

- “M” or “C”

“Short for Manic, or Crazed. F.e.; M.Lion (Manic Lion) or C.Whale (Crazed Whale)”

- RNG and Proc

”Randomly Generated Number. A random chance generated by the game, also known as Programmed Random Occurrence, or, Proc. F.e.; Cat Capsules are determined by RNG, you can get anything if the RNG works in the right way.”

- UR

”Could be confused with ‘Uber Rare’, but in this context, it means User Rank. User Rank is a general way to determine how advanced you are in the game. This can be raised by upgrading your units.”

- XP and NP

”XP: Experience Points, used to pay for unit upgrades and can be gained by playing stages or by letting Gamatoto do his expeditions.

NP: Gained by selling units from Cat Capsules. Is only used to gain and upgrade Cat Talents.”

Section 3: Battlecats terms.

You’ll mostly hear these words when people are talking about strategies, and certain loadouts.

- Attack Range

“This consist of two borders. If the opposing teams Hurtbox is within the attack borders, it will take damage from the enemy.”

- Cat (Unit)

”A unit that can be deployed by the player.”

- Cheese

”Beating a (part of a) stage in a way not intended by the game.”

- Clip

”Letting a unit pass through a unit from the opposing team. When a unit is in its kb animation, he basically is invincible and invisible (in the game, not for the player) until he’s out of his kb animation. This makes faster units walk into his usual distance. If the unit is kb’d frequently enough, the opposing team’s unit can pass through the original unit.“

- Drop Rate

”1. Chance for an item or unit to drop on a stage. F.e.; Mina has a 3% drop rate on Leaned to Love.

2. Chance for a certain rarity to drop on Cat Capsules. F.e.; L.R. has a 0.3% drop”

- Enemy (Unit)

”Your opposing team, lead by a cpu.”

- Event Cycle

”Daily fixed Events (Like the daily growing stages) start and end on 0:00. Non fixed Events (like rare Gacha Sets for example) always start on 11:00.”

- Frame

”Battlecats runs at 30FPS (frames per second). This is how Unit speeds are calculated. F.e.; Titan Cat’s attack animation is 25 frames long. This is approximately 0.83 seconds.”

- Gacha, True Form Gacha

“Important Note, this term is controversial and does not generally have a set meaning. The explanation below is the closest i can get to:”

.

- Hurtbox

“The entire space between two borders at where the unit will take damage. The Hurtbox does NOT have to be as big as the entire unit sprite.”

- Long Range

”Units with Long Range have an Attack Range that doesn’t touch the unit’s Hurtbox. It has a blindspot where the unit cannot attack.”

Tyrant Flycatcher

- Meat Shield

”Usually cheap to produce, used to take damage and to protect a more viable unit.”

- Niche

“Other word for Ability, or a Unit’s talent. F.e.;’Raiden is good against red enemies, because of his good niche.”

- Omni-Strike

”Units with this ability have a range that can reach behind the unit. This is mainly a trait for Zombies as they posses the ‘Bury’ ability, and can place themselves behind your cats.”

- Spamming/Spam

”Continually sending out the same set of units or singular unit.”

- Stack

”To have a set number of same units on the battlefield at once. The amount needed for a stack differs from stage to stage, but is most likely the result of spamming.”

- Standing Range

Moon Of Saturn

“The amount of distance an enemy or a unit walks to the opposing team until it stops moving for an attack.”

- Ubercarried

“A term made up by the community to say that someone uses more ubers then needed for a certain loadout or stage.”

- Unit

”A general term for everything that is spawned in a specific stage, or in the whole game, Cats and Enemies alike.”
